Network Groups/Special Interest Forums

ACEI Network Groups are groups of members who come together for professional camaraderie and the exchange of information on childhood education issues. Network groups are similar to what is often known as chapters, as they are usually formed based on geographic location; that is, members who reside near each other in a similar location join to form a network group. ACEI network groups can exist as country network groups, as well—a network group for one nation; others are formed in smaller communities, cities, or towns. The members of a network group share a passion for, and commitment to, the ACEI mission, and they share this mission with others. They enjoy supporting each others' professional efforts and discuss childhood education policies and practices with each other.

ACEI Special Interest Forums (SIFs) are small member communities. They are formed around a topic of special interest. Special interest forums are highly organic in nature. They form when a small group of members desires to discuss and explore a very specific topic in greater depth, but they disband when interest in the topic abates.

Currently, we have the forums listed below, but we would like to expand these to include a forum on global citizenship, one on girls education, and one on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).
