"Never doubt that a small group of committed, thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
—Margaret Mead
The Association for Childhood Education International announces a newly designed Web portal devoted entirely to child and adolescent advocacy issues. The primary goal of the new area is to encourage members and visitors to be staunch defenders of children's rights. It serves as a guide to parents, teachers, educators, administrators, child care providers, and all concerned individuals in their effort to promote child advocacy.
ACEI members from all corners of the world share a dual commitment to the fulfillment of every child's potential and to the professional development of teachers. They strive to promote the goals and mission of the organization; which are to promote the inherent rights, education and well-being of all children in their home, school and community. Our members work diligently to ensure that every child will be counted and have a voice. Let your voice be the voice for the countless number of silent children from around the globe.
ACEI invites you to review our position papers and resolutions. These papers and resolutions reflect current conditions affecting children, families, and schools today. These important writings are available at this location, and communicate the stance that ACEI holds on vital childhood issues.
ACEI encourages members, visitors, and their children to take an interest in the lives of the many under-served children: the children of neglect, the children of poverty, and the children of war. You can make a difference in the life of a child. Act now. Visit our new portal and discover ways to become involved.
