Reduced Housing Rates
Special
housing rates have been arranged with the Westin Michigan Avenue. Reserve your room online today!
When ACEI holds its Annual International Conference & Exhibition in
a city, our staff negotiates with the headquarters hotel to block a
sufficient number of guest rooms for attendees. We do this in order to
provide safe and secure accommodations, while enjoying the hospitality
of quality, upscale lodging. Keep in mind that if ACEI does not fill
the contractual obligations with the headquarters hotel, the
Association will be required to pay significant financial penalties.
The Westin's downtown location is just a few short blocks from the key
financial and business offices.
Please support your professional Association by planning to make your reservation
with the Westin Michigan Avenue - the headquarters hotel for the 2009
Conference. Thank you!
Registration
All
attendees, including presenters, guests, and facilitators,
must register. Student registration fees are for full-time
students and your advisor's signature is required on the registration
form if you are registering as a student. Proof of registration
(Conference badge) is required for admission to sessions, meetings,
functions, the exhibits, and other ACEI-sponsored events.
Dress
For
most of the Conference, business attire is appropriate. Otherwise in
Chicago, casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. Some
restaurants may require a jacket and tie.

What your colleagues
say about the ACEI Annual Conference:
This was my first ACEI Conference. Although I have
attended and presented at many conferences over the years, I cannot
believe I have missed ACEI until now.
This conference had something for everyone - classroom teachers,
teacher educators, and pre-school program people that covered a myriad
of interesting topics. The presenters were engaging and I often found
more than 2-3 sessions to go to for each time frame. I met some great
colleagues, and even someone I knew long ago!
I think the ACEI Conference is an undiscovered treasure. Thank you all
for your warm welcome, engaging conversations, and hard work. I look
forward to many opportunities to work together in the future.
A terrific way to "sell" what ACEI does internationally. It was a great
first experience for me.
Bravo! Thank you for a fantastic and relevant conference!
This was my first year and I felt most comfortable because people were
friendly and went out of their way to help you.
I am so glad I came and convinced my friends to come too!
